History of the Hebrew International Ministry
The Hebrew International Ministry was born in 1981 as a Church, after the Lord Jesus Christ called Pastors Rene de Jesús Gonzales and Rosa Linda Amaya de Gonzales, being very young, to start the Ministry for which he had chosen them, he began in Cologne Bella Vista under a tree, then continued in a family home. Later, a piece of land was acquired on the edge of the Bella Vista Colony where the first temple was built to accommodate about 300 people, it was not easy but the hand of God has been extended to support his servants at all times.
The Pastors and the congregation decided to accept God's challenge to reach the lost crowds and instruct them until Choloma won for Christ, which in 1994 established the strategy of working with the growth groups. The model taught by the Bible to bless each person and thus achieve multiplication in the municipality of Choloma has been launched.
In the year of 1999, it was established as the Hebrew International Ministry, founded with the purpose of doing an integral work: Salvation of souls, preaching the gospel to give educational, social and spiritual development, to be a solution to the problem of literacy and social problems.
The Apostle and Dr. Rene de Jesús González founded 18 Churches in different parts of Honduras and three internationally (U.S.A, Guatemala) which belong to the Hebrew International Ministry. In year 98 the capacity for the people that God was saving and bringing to the ministry was insufficient, so the vision was extended and a new challenge arose to build a temple with a capacity of 2,000 people. God has been faithful and has been bringing more families to his Kingdom, which is why the temple was again insufficient and has placed in the heart of the Apostle the construction of a temple with a capacity of 6,000 people.
We currently have 200 growth groups, with a membership of 3,500 members.
