Al-Aqsa TV is a Palestinian satellite television channel that was founded in 2006 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). The channel is based in the Gaza Strip and broadcasts news, current affairs, religious programming, and children's programming. It is named after the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is one of the holiest sites in Islam and is located in the Old City of Jerusalem.
